Before you inquire

Frequently Asked Questions
during initial contact.

Answers to the questions we are asked most frequently — before the conversation begins.

Discuss project →
How does a typical collaboration work?

We start with a free initial consultation where we clarify your requirements and framework conditions. After that, you will receive a detailed offer with clear project phases — from conception to commissioning.

How long does a typical project take?

Project duration heavily depends on the scope. We typically complete tool and fixture construction in 8–16 weeks, automated systems in 4–9 months, and complete product developments starting from 6 months. We set specific deadlines in our offer with binding milestones.

Which companies are we the right partner for?

We primarily work with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs in aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors — companies with demanding composite, precision, or automation requirements. From SMEs to large corporations: technical depth is what matters, not size.

Which standards and certifications do we meet?

MICADO is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. For aerospace projects, we work according to EN 9100; for automotive, we follow IATF 16949-compliant processes. Upon request, we provide initial sample inspection reports, material certificates 3.1, and project-specific validation documentation.

Do we also work internationally?

Yes — around 60% of our projects are international. Location Oberlienz (AT), worldwide deliveries, on-site commissioning and service in the EU, North America, and Asia. Project languages German and English, multilingual documentation available upon request.
